Recycling of Zinc bearing residues to extract zinc oxides
Responsible industrial recycling service mainly to steel producers for whom the dusts from their electric arc furnaces are a hazardous waste for the environment. Zinc, which is used to protect car bodywork from corrosion, is transferred into the dust when it is recycled. These dusts, containing 15 to 35% zinc, are enriched in a giant rotating furnace using the Waelz process. The Waelz oxides produced are secondary raw materials for zinc producers.

Process
The hydro & pyro processing units have experience in Furnace Operations, Statistical Process Control and GMP as well as the capability of Leaching, Purification, Precipitation, Drying and Calcination. Further value addition is created through micronizing, palletizing, morphological controls, surface treatment, etc.
